Quick Start Guide

System Requirements

• OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
• Standard use: no special hardware needed; rewrites run through Wrivio's cloud
• Optional offline mode: enough free space for a local model of roughly 1.1 GB or 2.1 GB; performance varies by CPU

Step 1: Install Wrivio

Wrivio is a single small installer. No other software is needed.

1. Download the Windows installer from the download page.
2. Run the installer and launch Wrivio.

That's it. No account is required to start, and the app comes with free credits so your first rewrites work immediately.

Step 2: Rewrite your first message

• Press Ctrl+Shift+Space while typing in any application (Word, Outlook, Slack, etc.).
• Type or paste your rough draft into the top box.
• Press Ctrl+Enter to run the rewrite.
• Review the result, toggle Show changes if you want the word-level diff, and click Copy to paste the polished text back into your app.

Optional: Go fully offline with Local mode

Wrivio can process the submitted rewrite text with a model on your PC instead of the Cloud rewrite service. This is optional; you choose it in Settings or during onboarding.

1. Switch the engine toggle to Local.
2. Wrivio offers a one-time model download (about 2GB, resumable and checksum-verified). A smaller, faster option is available for lighter machines.
3. Once downloaded, local rewrites work completely offline. Zero network calls.

The local engine is built into Wrivio, so there is nothing else to install or keep running. (Power users who already run Ollama can point Wrivio at it from advanced settings, but this is never required.)

Make it yours

• Contexts: save the kinds of rewrites you use (professional, short and casual, clear and firm) and switch with Alt+1–4.
• Styleprint: describe how you write once, and rewrites shift toward sounding like you, in any tone.
• Launch on startup: enable it in Settings so the hotkey is always ready.
